I will be announcing my Wines of the Year 2023 on Wednesday, 9am. At that time I will also open submissions for WP visitors. Same categories as always:

RED
WHITE
BUDGET RED (your definition of budget is OK)
BUDGET WHITE
SPARKLING
PINK
SWEET
FORTIFIED
EXTRA (FREE CHOICE)
DUD (worst/biggest disappointment)
THING (Intended to be non-wine)

And you can miss any category where you have no contender.

Interesting point. We use English words for red and white, but then say rosé for pink... But pink in French is rose, not rosé (which presumably means something like "pinked"?)

The category is actually rosé, but the post was typed on my phone. It is a pain in the derriere to achieve é on a phone, and my delicate sensitivities would not allow me to type 'rose', which would bewilder the horticulturists among us, as well as the oenophiles and, indeed, the pedants!
