Food Spicy Chicken Skewer

  1. I am in the Morocco mood right now with books to read by Edith Wharton "In Morocco" and Christine Mangan "Tangerine" and just started the thriller "The man between" by Charles Cumming.


    400g chicken breast

    1-2 tbsp Harissa paste or Turkish paprika paste (Biber Salçasi)

    200ml mix of olive oil/sunflower oil

    1 tbsp paprika

    handful fresh mint leaves

    handful fresh thyme leaves


    optional: chili flakes


    1. Combine Harissa paste with paprika


    2. Add oil


    3. Add chopped herbs


    4. Slice the chicken breast in chunks.


    5. Add the chicken chunks into the spicy marinade. Put in the fridge for 2-3h


    6. Soak the skewers in cold water for 1h. Put the chicken chunks to the skewers.


    7. Roast the skewers on the grill/grill pan for around 8- 10min.


    8. Drizzle with fresh mint and serve with Taboulé and Hummus. ENJOY
