Celler de Capcanes (Spain) Mas Collet 1997
A blend of several grapes, both indigenous and "international", including Grenache Tempranillo and Cabernet Sauvignon. It has really lovely creamy aromas on the nose of forest-berries, vanilla and spice. On the palate it is dense, earthy and meaty with fine tannins and a notable lemony acidity in the finish. The wine is long, balanced and succulent, yet is packed with easy-to-drink berry fruit. Majestic 5.49 (05/99)
