And now it is happening all over again! Spurred on by the amazing reaction to last year's event, superBOWL 2003 will welcome wine lovers to Glasgow for another weekend of celebration. Within two days of it being announced on the UK Wine Forum, sixty tickets have been snapped up. This year, however, we have increased capacity to 75, so more people have a chance to attend. The date for superBOWL is Saturday, October 11th 2003 (though last year spin-off events were held on the Friday and Sunday too).

The provisional programme is as follows: 14:00 - 17:30   walk-round tasting - rare and unusual wines 14:15 - 15:00   tutored tasting seminar 1 15:15 - 16:00   tutored tasting seminar 2 16:15 - 17:00   tutored tasting seminar 3 19:30 - 17:00   fine wine dinner. There is a tremendous buzz about the superBOWL, with people travelling from every corner of the UK, as well as Europe, to attend. Please make sure you read the report on last year's event if you want the full story. SuperBOWL 2003 is bigger and better than ever, and it promises to be a memorable and absolutely fascinating day. SuperBOWL is a non-profit-making event. The fee you pay will be around £40 per person, to include the tastings, seminars, dinner and all wines with dinner. Special discount rates have been negotiated with local hotels, and there is a wide choice of transport options for Glasgow, including budget airlines.
