Wink Lorch
Wink gave up selling wine to become a wine educator and writer in the late 1980s. She has lectured widely for the
WSET and for wine clubs and companies in the UK particularly on wines of South America, and was the first Chairman of the
Association of Wine Educators. She has contributed to numerous books published in the UK and the USA and writes for
Tom Stevenson’s Wine Report on Savoie and Jura. In 2007 she launched winetravelguides.com with more than
40 on-line guides to travelling independently in wine regions in France.
For wine-pages, Wink will share experiences from her travels in South America and other forays around the world.
We are also promised the occasional glimpse of obscure wines from the Alps, where Wink is based for much of the time.
