Fine Expressions - premium drinks magazine by Tom Cannavan, 10/05 ![]() Fine Expressions is the new bi-monthly magazine with an in-depth focus on fine wine, but also covering the world of Scotch whisky, premium drinks, food and travel. Cover price is £3.95, and I am the magazine's Editor. We also look at Belgian beers with a guide to styles and recommended brews, plus a profile of the Trappist brothes of Chimay. We look at matching Saké to the flavours of Umami, and recommend three of our favourite restaurants with rooms, where bed is only a footstep away. We investigate the world of ultra-premium vodkas, and whisky features in issue three include articles on Bruichladdich, Bladnoch and the miracle of maturation. There are fascinating articles on taking a malt whisky tasting extravaganza to the Glastonbury music festival, and an investigation into the quality of supermarket malts.
