Tom Stevenson

Tom is the world's most respected authority on Champagne and sparkling wine. Author of The World Encyclopedia of Champagne and Sparkling Wine, and the Annual Champagne and Sparkling Wine Guide,
Tom has picked up no less than 31 major writing awards (not including three picked up by Wine Report, which he shares with 40-odd contributors). He is also author of the Sotheby's Wine Encyclopedia
(2007 edition just released) and the definitive Wines of Alsace reference book. Tom writes an exclusive column for us, on fizz of course, but much more too, in his own corner of wine-pages.

After nine years in the wine trade in London and Bordeaux, Rosemary turned to wine writing in 1981. She was one of the first women
Masters of Wine, and has now written nine wine books. She contributes to Wine Magazine, Decanter and the Quarterly Review of Wines. She has also co-edited the Which? Wine Guide,
and contributes regularly to Oz Clarke's Wine Guides. Rosemary has won both the André Simon and the Glenfiddich award for her writing. Her latest book, The Wines of the South of France,
is the inspiration for her first series of new writings, exclusively for wine-pages.

Caroline Gilby MW

Caroline Gilby has been writing and talking about wine for over 12 years after a previous career working as senior wine buyer for Augustus Barnett. Several trips to Eastern Europe developed into a special interest
in the wines of the former Eastern Bloc, and regular visits to countries like Moldova, Bulgaria, Romania, Slovenia and Hungary. Caroline passed her Master of Wine in 1992, and with a PhD in plant sciences,
she also takes an interest in viticulture and wine science. Caroline contributes to Wine Report, Oxford Companion to Wine, Harpers, Decanter and more.

Wink gave up selling wine to become a wine educator and writer in the late 1980s. She has lectured widely, particularly on wines of South America,
and was the first Chairman of the Association of Wine Educators. She has contributed to numerous books published in the UK and the USA. In 2007
she launched www.winetravelguides.com with more than 40 on-line guides to travelling independently in wine regions in France. Other countries
will be added in the future. Wink divides her time between London and
the French Alps, where she delights in shocking her friends with New World wines.

holds the WSET Diploma, and is about to embark on her MW. Vivienne spent 15 years as Food Buyer for Marks & Spencer, buying Meat, Poultry, Fish, Fruit and Ready Meals. Part of her job was to eat in restaurants, to be aware of
food trends and innovate new products. She has a degree in French and German and travels widely with
her food inspector husband, to "increase my wine knowledge" and "to sample the great restaurants of the world".

Becky is a US-based wine and food writer who has been writing about wine and food for two decades. She began her career as restaurant
critic for the Los Angeles Times in the 1980's and 90's, before moving into wine and spirits coverage for local and national publications. These include the Wine Spectator and
Food & Wine magazines. Her expertise includes wine history, aperitif and dessert wines and spirits, fortified wines and Champagne. Becky's column will touch on the
US wine scene, but expect a broad range of articles, from touring the Coonawarra, to her beloved dessert wines.
